03 / ABOUT FAIRCROFT

Faircroft Projects is led by Mike Bufton, a qualified civil and environmental engineer with a Diploma of Access Consulting and over a decade of experience across design, engineering and construction delivery.
Mike's background spans structural engineering, site engineering, design management and project management across commercial, hospitality, retail, childcare and residential projects in Australia and New Zealand.
That breadth of experience underpins a practical approach to design coordination, construction feasibility, client liaison and clear technical documentation.
Faircroft is co-directed by Mike Bufton and Chloe Abotomey. Chloe offers construction progress, project and corporate photography, including professional headshots and team portraits.
SELECTED EXPERIENCE
Mike has contributed to the design of multiple pubs, clubs and restaurants throughout NSW, working alongside established builder New England Constructions.
Project management experience on an $11 million commercial hospitality development, awarded a Master Builders Excellence Award in 2022.
Project management experience on a $3.5 million commercial project, recognised with a Master Builders Excellence Award in 2024.
Design, project and site management experience across childcare works, office fitouts and retail refurbishments in Victoria.
